Waste to Biogas: Powering Nutrition in Nigeria was launched to mobilise funding for our portfolio company, Moppet Foods, to procure a biodigester that would convert organic production waste into clean, affordable energy. While we successfully raised a portion of the required funds through the platform, we did not reach our full target. We are pleased to share that a partner organisation subsequently stepped in to provide the balance of the funding needed, enabling the successful procurement of the biodigester.
This support ensures that Moppet Foods can now reduce waste, lower energy costs, and strengthen its climate resilience while continuing to deliver affordable, nutritious food to families.
