"Investing in Women, Transforming Communities." EHA Impact Ventures empowers African women entrepreneurs to build thriving businesses that improve health, nutrition, and livelihoods. By providing flexible capital and hands-on support, we help close the gender funding gap and create sustainable jobs, affordable products, and healthier communities across Africa.
Across Africa, women face systemic barriers to startup capital-receiving just 2% of funding despite making up 58% of the self-employed. This gender funding gap isn't just unjust; it's a missed opportunity to improve health, livelihoods, and economic resilience. Many women are building ventures that directly address local health and nutrition challenges, yet they remain excluded from the capital flows needed to grow.
EHA Impact Ventures closes this gap by investing in African women founders building health, nutrition, and livelihood solutions. We provide flexible, founder-friendly capital, hands-on business support, and access to networks that traditional investors overlook. Our all-women investment committee ensures decisions are rooted in equity and inclusion, while our founder support program strengthens leadership, governance, and well-being. By fueling women-led enterprises, we unlock scalable solutions
In the long term, EIV's investments will catalyze a ripple effect far beyond individual businesses. By enabling women to scale enterprises in health, nutrition, and livelihoods, we are fostering healthier families, stronger local economies, and more equitable communities. Women reinvest up to 90% of their income into households, meaning every dollar we invest multiplies into improved education, nutrition, and opportunities for the next generation.
