At Adjah Cancer Support Ghana, we believe in providing cancer survivors with a second chance at life, not only through treatment but also by equipping them with the skills to achieve financial independence. This project will offer vocational training programs to cancer survivors in Ghana, enabling them to rebuild their lives and support their families after their recovery journey.
Cancer survivors in Ghana often face significant economic challenges after treatment, with many unable to return to their previous occupations due to physical or emotional limitations. The financial burden of cancer treatment leaves many survivors struggling to make ends meet, creating a cycle of poverty that is hard to escape. Without access to job training or skills development, survivors are left vulnerable and dependent.
This project will provide cancer survivors with vocational training in skills such as tailoring, hairdressing, carpentry, baking, and digital marketing. Participants will also receive startup kits to establish their businesses. This initiative will not only help them earn a living but also restore their dignity and independence, empowering them to thrive.
By providing vocational training and support, we aim to break the cycle of poverty among cancer survivors, fostering self-reliance and financial security. These empowered individuals will contribute to their communities, serve as role models, and inspire others facing similar challenges.
