Vital Voices is deeply grateful for your support, which enables us to strengthen women leaders, expand our global network, advance women-led solutions to urgent challenges, and elevate a more powerful vision of women’s leadership.
Expanding the Vital Voices Network
During the last year, the Vital Voices Global Leadership Network grew to 49,000 women changemakers across 188 countries. Our leadership programs equip women and girls with the skills, relationships, mentorship, and visibility needed to translate bold ideas into action.
2026 program outcomes so far demonstrate the strength of this approach: 98% of post-program respondents have reported gaining or improving knowledge and skills applicable to their work. 80% have implemented changes to their business, organization, initiative, or work, and 90% report being highly or extremely confident in their ability to take on new leadership roles.
Advancing Women-Led Solutions
The Vital Voices Global Network team continues to support the long-term success of women leaders by providing access to strategic investment, meaningful connections, and amplified visibility. We are also excited to be launching the Vital Voices Breakthrough Initiative, identifying extraordinary women leaders whose next milestone has the potential to change systems, improve thousands of lives, and become significantly more achievable with Vital Voices’ support at exactly the right moment.
Our Crisis Response team has supported 49 women leaders in 15 countries with urgent funds to cover relocation, livelihood, mental health support, and medical needs. We are also currently training over 200 women leaders across 9 countries in crisis readiness - core principles include assessing risks, addressing ways to keep themselves and their teams safe, and training others.
Shifting Perceptions of Women’s Leadership
Vital Voices continues to strengthen partnerships and platforms that elevate women's leadership globally. We convene leaders around democracy, peacebuilding, and human rights, and have continued the Vital Voices Live podcast to amplify diverse stories of women’s leadership. A powerful example of this work is our continued support for the Mothers’ Call, a movement of Israeli and Palestinian mothers committed to ending violence in the region and ensuring women have a meaningful role in the peace process. In March, Vital Voices organized the Barefoot Walk in Rome, bringing together nearly 1,000 people to stand in solidarity with the movement and its vision for peace.
The impact of this work extends far beyond individual participants. Our research shows that Vital Voices alumnae form 60+ new partnerships, lead organizations reaching hundreds of thousands of people, and 82% go on to mentor others, creating a powerful cycle of leadership and impact across communities and generations.
Looking Ahead
Your support has strengthened not only the women leaders in our network but also Vital Voices’ capacity to sustain and scale their impact. Investments in technology, monitoring and evaluation, communications, and our Global Headquarters for Women’s Leadership are helping build the infrastructure required for long-term change.
We are profoundly grateful for your investment in women who are solving the world’s greatest challenges. Together, we are helping women leaders bring bold visions to life - and creating a ripple effect that will continue through communities, sectors, and generations.
