In this special report we want to share with you the great satisfaction we have to give an "extra" thanks to our loyal donors of this wonderful platform, during the month of August, we celebrated the month of the elderly, we visited the nursing home "Las Palomas" located in Cuernavaca Morelos and home to more than 20 seniors, we took on the task of bringing medical and ophthalmological services and attended in the clinic to seniors who required specialized services, some of them are still in the process for surgery. The work has been in conjunction with the people in charge of the nursing home and it has not been easy, it requires a lot of effort, however, the satisfaction is very great and we know that everything is worth it to see them well. In addition to this, as usual, we continue to support the elderly who come to the clinic and need eye surgery and do not have sufficient resources to cover their surgery. We appreciate the trust placed in our institution to continue supporting more grandparents and allow them to live the last stage of their lives with dignity. Undoubtedly they still have a lot to see.

It has been a quarter full of satisfaction for the work done. In this period with the donations through the GlobalGiving platform, we benefited 20 people who needed eye surgery to save their vision, 11 women and 9 men. The youngest person is 60 years old and the oldest is 80 years old; the average age of the people operated on is 68 years old. According to the words of the beneficiaries, this surgery considerably improves their visual functioning, which gives them more security when doing their daily life activities, gives them autonomy and makes them feel more secure. We would like to personally tell each and every one of our donors THANK YOU, without your help this would not be possible. We continue to put our work in your hands to support more seniors in need of surgery.

Together we will achieve a better world. Below are some of the beneficiaries of eye surgery that were supported with your donation.
This last period was one of hard work. With the donations received through the GlobalGiving platform and other alliances, it was possible to benefit 18 patients from the ACREC ophthalmology clinic who had been diagnosed with cataract in one or both eyes. A socioeconomic study was conducted with each of the beneficiaries to determine the level of financial support that could be offered to enable the surgery.
Of the 18 elderly who received assistance for their surgery, 100% reported incomes less than twice the minimum wage per capita. Of the total beneficiaries, 52% were female and 48% male, and with an average age of 65 years.
On behalf of all these elderly beneficiaries, we thank you for the recurring and one-time donations that have brought them the miracle of regaining their sight. It is exciting to know that on the other side of the world there are people who have trusted us and what we do for the elderly, we also have donors who know us, see our work closely and have supported us on a recurring basis. We are very happy that more and more people are joining us. Don't forget that everything counts and it doesn't matter the amount when you give with your heart.

Period with abundant firm and constant work but above all very satisfying. With the help of GlobalGiving donors, we have been able to change the lives of 17 people who have benefited from ophthalmologic surgery that will allow them to improve their quality of life in relation to visual functioning. The road is long and we are still very excited because with your kindness we make many dreams come true.
It is touching to know that on the other side of the world there are people who, without knowing the work personally, have trusted us and what we do for the elderly. We also have donors who know us, see our work up close and have supported us constantly. We are very happy that more and more people are joining us as recurring donors.
