Thank you very much for your generous donation to our project vegetable seed production and distribution project. We are happy to report that after more than 5 months of intense heat, rains has started falling signaling the start of the planting season and farmers can have harvest, food and income again. The last 5 months or so has been very tough with food and water shortages happening and negatively impacting the lives and livelihoods of poor farming families. This reporting period we are gearing-up for the rainy season by growing seedlings that we will distribute to farmers. The seedlings comprise mainly vegetables because these are difficult and expensive to access by farmers. We grow them first before distribution because they are too tiny and difficult to raise by farmers. We are growing 4 types and will target 300 farmers for distribution.
