Dear Friend,

Warm greetings and thank you very much for your support to our initiative producing and distributing vegetable seeds for poor farmers. The cropping season this time is not good just like what happened in the past season as climate is affecting farming in the villages. It is either too much rain or too much dry season and the crops could not withstand this severe variations. Before the seasons are mild and the dry and wet months are equally distributed but so unlike this time. We are trying our very best to provide vegetable seeds to farmers in order to augment their income as they do bakcyard vegetable raising. It is easy to raise vegetables in the backyard since farmers and their family members can well take care of it easily. We were able to distribute vegetable seeds to 72 farmers during this period and we hope to increase our beneficiaries in the coming months. Again thank you so much.

Very sincerely yours,

Cora Sayre

Dear Friend,

Greetings and may we submit our first report for this project producing vegetable seeds for poor farmers. Seeds are very expensive if we buy them commercially and there are very few seed growers locally. Farm production suffers without this important input and we aim to solve this predicament by producing vegetable seeds for farmers. Aside from vegetables we will also produce seeds from pulses, legumes, root crops and herbs. This point in time as we start this project we are already starting to collect heirloom seeds that are found in the locality as well as contacting possible sources nationwide. We want to be the leader in seed supply that are local and that are of heirloom variety since heirloom seeds has undergone so many years of local breeding already and they are best suited for small, resource-poor farmers. Hoping for your continuing support. Thank you very much.

Very sincerely yours,

Cora Sayre
