We are excited to share the latest update on our ongoing mission to enhance healthcare services at the Medical Centres in Talara.
Inmótica, with support from EcoSwell's volunteers, successfully executed the installation. Notably, an online monitoring system has been integrated, allowing real-time performance tracking accessible via a mobile app or a website. Additionally, we powered an extra office, the insurance office, to connect the internet modem to the UPS, mitigating deconfiguration risks.
A momentous launch ceremony occurred at the Medical Center on August 17th. Representatives from Indeco by Nexans, Huemura, the Regional Government of Piura, Inmótica, two EcoSwell directors, staff, and volunteers came together to celebrate the installation's completion. This system positively impacts over 120,000 individuals in Talara. The event garnered extensive media coverage, with journalists capturing moments through photos and videos.
We successfully acquired PPEs for electrical and high-altitude work. Anchors have been securely fixed to concrete walls, and cords installed provide a reliable point for fixing the life line and harness.
Comprehensive training sessions were conducted, including two theoretical sessions for the general staff and an additional session specifically for the maintenance staff. The latter involved practical demonstrations of cleaning procedures using specialized PPEs designed for high-altitude work.
Our immediate tasks include the printing of the Operation and Maintenance Manual, along with obtaining signatures on the system delivery acceptance format. Continuous monitoring and technical support will be paramount in ensuring the sustained success of this healthcare enhancement initiative in Talara.
We extend our gratitude to Indeco by Nexans, Huemura, the Regional Government of Piura, our dedicated volunteers, and generous donors. Your unwavering support propels us toward a brighter healthcare future, making a lasting impact on the well-being of the community.
