2019 Uplift a Child Brought Smiles in 3000 faces

Dear Sponsors, Friends and Well-Wishers,

It was an honor to serve Uplift a Child International for the past 18 years with the help of our Sponsors & Volunteers. We take this moment to thank God for His guidance and providence to serve 4,000 less fortunate children in 5 countries. It is a happy occasion to see our children in person at their respective schools and to remind them that we are there for them. Though it is another year of financial challenges, we are happy that “We Left No Child Behind for Education in2019”.

We honored all of our meritorious children and encouraged them to do well in their academics. This year we had 513 award recipients for the below specific awards. Maths award is the newest of all started this year, given to those who secured 95% or more in Mathematics.

They personally have witnessed the activities and interacted with the parents and the children and were touched. 2019 Uplift a Child - 98.24%

Dear Friends & Sponsors of Uplift a Child International, We would like to share the results of our children’s hard work. In 2019, we had a total of 113 children who have appeared for the SSC (10th Class) Public examination conducted by the Government. Out of them, 111 of them have successfully passed their exams in flying colors and 2 have failed. That means 98.24% is our success rate on those who have completed their high school.

We support these children for 12 years of education (from LKG to Grade X). We are so happy to see the results. Our sincere thanks to our sponsors and those who have trusted us 100% on our cause. With your commitment and dedicated support each year, we are able to send these children to school. Our volunteers locally have done their part. The Schools and the School management have always played a vital role with their part in taking special care of our underprivileged children

CONGRATULATIONS to 3 of our children who scored a 100% (10/10 GPA) 1. Sravani 10/10 from Swathi Model School (Sponsored by Backup Funds) 2. Ajay 10/10 from Swathi Model School (Sponsored by Backup Funds) 3. Hema 10/10 from Alquamar Creative Academy (Sunil Kandukuri & Soujanya Akula) This is the Fourth year in a row, we have several children getting 10/10 GPA. Our children are inspired each year and they know that education is the only way they can reach their goal in LIFE. They work very hard and Uplift a Child is very proud to do whatever we could to see them succeed.

Uplift a Child is a super successful organization with our work producing amazing results benefiting the underprivileged children in India, Nepal, Philippines, Congo and Kenya. We currently have close to 1900 children who are waiting for help and it would cost an average of $200 to support a child. We welcome those who would like to make a difference to join our cause and give a new hope to the deserving children for education. It is a chance for all to touch people’s lives and Uplift a Child is giving this opportunity to you with no discrimination of race, religion, language, caste, sex or any barriers. Our objective is ONE – “To Uplift a Child” who lost a mother or father to death and help them for 12 years till they get their wings and can fly on their own. A warm welcome to the new comers. From Poverty to Success - Our Children

Harish scoring 100% 3 years in a Row from X to XII

Uplift a Child is very proud of 2 of our children who are leading by example. They know that their voices will be heard only if they score high in Education or topper in some other sports. Both of them have chosen to beat everyone in education and we can foresee their bright future. Both of them have Scored 100% in their public exams for the last 2 and 3 years. Below are their details.

HARISH VANGALAPUDI:
2017: Scored 100% in his SSC (Grade 10)
2018: Scored 100% in his Intermediate First Year
2019: Scored 100% in his Intermediate Second Year

LAKSHMAN PADALA:
2018: Scored 100% in his SSC (Grade 10)
2019: Scored 100% in his Intermediate First Year

Putting our children in the best English medium schools would certainly better their lives. It is expensive but worth it in the end. We always go through the Criticism of why we are avoiding Government Schools. Without any explanation, we just have only one answer. “ Sam Vonumu’s words : I will not put my children in Government Schools”. Because of that reason, I will somehow struggle and sacrifice but will put our children in good schools where our little help can more families lives altogether. Those who believe in our style, please join us.
