India stands top in cultural, traditional, and technological advancements.  Despite this, India stands still in poverty.  The only way to eradicate this long-standing curse is through education.  We believe that education can play a vital role in transforming India to a developed Nation.

Uplift a child International, in our 24 years of service to the nation is holding hands with the nation in preparation for a new generation to a cent percent literacy rate.   We are committed to educate Orphan, Semi-orphan and children with disabled parents in their neediest condition. We support children’s education in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Karnataka, Bihar, Jharkhand, Assam, West Bengal, Rajasthan and Odisha.

In the year 2023, our team visited close to 700 children and their families in the states of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh,Telangana, Assam, and West Bengal in the months of April and October to motivate the children the value of education, encourage them in their studies and reassure them that we are part of their family.

Dear Friends and Well-wishers of Uplift a Child!

2023 has been a successful year for Uplift a Child as our good work was recognized by the President of the United States for our charitable activities in the society.

Our team at Uplift A Child visited all children in India, in 2023. We met our children in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, West Bengal, Assam, Tamil Nadu, and organized Annual Programs.  It gave us an opportunity to bond with our children at their homes and assure them of our support and care towards them. 

Our most rewarding visit was to DR Congo.  During our visit, we met all our children in their homes and also got the privilege to meet many other children who lived in extreme poverty.  The most heart touching experience was, meeting 7 orphan children between 2 to 10 yrs. of age, who live on their own in a very pathetic condition.  They live at the mercy of the villagers for their daily survival. Witnessing their condition was very heart-breaking for our team.  We are delighted that we could rescue and adopt those kids. They are part of the Uplift A Child family today.

Another proudest moment was to meet our first graduate student from the Massai tribe of Kenya.  She stands as a living witness of how education can change lives.  Her speech in front of the tribe chief was a remarkable one admonishing them against child marriage and other inequalities that prevailed.

Our team visited all the children in 5 different countries during the year 2023.  In the attached video, you can see the glimpse of all our activities during the year 2023
