Uplift a Child - 4000 Children

Uplift a Child has completed 20 years of “Service to Humanity” this year. Uplift a Child believes that every underprivileged child must have a chance for education. They should never lose the opportunity to go to school because they are poor.

All are equal and all are valued no matter what their background is. Without any discrimination of race, religion, sexual orientation, country of origin, etc., we have completed 20 years of service to humanity through “The Gift of Education”. It has already changed the lives of thousands of children across India, Nepal, Philippines, DR Congo, Kenya and South Africa.

COVID-19 pandemic has impacted us big time with our fundraising activities in the USA. While our finances were hindered, we continued our support to our children that were already enrolled in our program for many years. Most of the schools have closed for many months but have re-opened for few months continuing their syllabus. COVID could not stop our children from their learning and they have spent more time at home studying from their books. Our volunteers were able to visit them and assist them with whatever they could during this time. We went out of our way to help COVID-related activities in India and South Africa in 2020. Our sincere thanks to all of our sponsors, volunteers, well-wishers and all our partners in charity (Schools, Colleges, Book Vendors, Uniform Vendors, Shoe Vendors, Local agencies and Institutions and all the Governments)
