Children in Raichur and Yadgir, mostly first-generation learners, struggle to read, write, or speak basic English. We solve this by training and employing qualified rural youth especially women as educators to deliver the State's Nalli-Kali English program through activity-based learning. Your support will help 3,000 children build foundational skills, empower 30 women with dignified careers, and uplift 9,000 families across the community.
In Raichur and Yadgir, first-generation learners struggle with basic English, limiting confidence, comprehension, and future opportunities. Families lack the support needed to help children learn. We address this by training qualified rural youth especially women to teach the State's Nalli-Kali English program using engaging, activity-based methods. Your support helps 3,000 children overcome learning barriers, empowers 30 women with dignified careers, and strengthens 9,000 families.
We place trained community educators directly in Government schools to teach the State Nalli-Kali English program using child-friendly LSRW instruction. Each child receives 250+ hours of guided learning with storytelling, games, and simple ed-tech for speaking practice. We also engage parents to reduce dropout. The approach aligns with India's NEP 2020 and SDG 4 & 5. Most educators are local women who gain financial independence and inspire their communities as role models.
We improve listening (+30%), reading/speaking (+20%), and writing confidence (+30%) while increasing school attendance by 10% and reducing dropout through stronger early learning. Our program creates local employment and leadership opportunities for women and strengthens the rural teaching ecosystem sustainably. With a focused 3-year plan, we ensure every classroom has a consistent, compassionate, and capable English educator who delivers measurable learning impact.
