Ukraine: Help Orphans Affected by War

Dear Friends, 

Greetings from Bright Kids Charity in Ukraine! 

We are excited to share that your generous donation has greatly supported orphan children and youth with disabilities. Thanks to your contributions, BKC has provided much-needed equipment, such as a large frying pan and two stoves, at a total cost of USD 3566. Feeding and caring for over 150 disabled and bedridden children is a challenging task, and having the right equipment is essential to ensure that daily operations run smoothly. The administration of the orphanage is incredibly grateful for this vital assistance:

“All the equipment is wonderful! We are impressed with the large frying pan, as the one we had was three times smaller, which was quite inconvenient. Now, with the larger frying pan, we can cook two layers of cutlets at once and feed all 155 children in one go. Everything is beautiful!”

Your donations have made a significant impact on this orphanage during these dark times, as our country continues to be affected by war and our government lacks the funding to provide essential resources for the most vulnerable members of our society. We express our heartfelt gratitude for your kindness and support.

Warm greetings from Bright Kids Charity in Ukraine.

We are reaching out to share about our efforts to support children in need.

In Ukraine, orphanages face significant challenges, such as poor living conditions, inadequate study environments, and insufficient nutrition. These issues are particularly pressing as resources continue to dwindle during these tumultuous times. The orphanages we support require extensive assistance due to severe underfunding across the social welfare sector.

BKC is genuinely grateful to inform you that, thanks to your generous contributions, we have provided support valued at a total of USD 2731 to children in two special education institutions for those with mental and physical developmental disorders:

- We supplied renovation materials for one of the institutions.

- We provided stationery materials and two pairs of ski gear for the other facility.

Children in institutional care often face social exclusion and are frequently overlooked. Therefore, it is heartwarming to share that two students from one of these institutions were invited to participate in a ski tournament—an opportunity that is rare, if not unique, for them. We are incredibly thankful to you for making this possible and enabling us to provide essential assistance to help run these facilities. Your support helps create dignified conditions for the young residents and, most importantly, lets them know that people care.
