Ukraine: Help Orphans Affected by War

Dear Friends,

Greetings from all of us at Bright Kids Charity in Ukraine.

Thanks to your generosity, we recently delivered $1915 worth of essential supplies to a specialised educational institution for children with mental and physical disabilities in Zhytomyr Oblast—a place we have proudly supported since the beginning of the full-scale war.

This delivery included:

Sports shoes

Industrial-capacity cooking pots

Classroom cabinets

Tables

These may seem like ordinary items, but for these children they mean so much more. They provide the basics needed to learn, eat, and live with dignity.

One item was especially meaningful. We purchased sports shoes for a boy who had earned the opportunity to compete in the Special Olympics European Cross-Country Skiing Competition 2026 in Estonia. He had worked hard to qualify, but he didn't have suitable footwear to participate. Thanks to your support, he was able to take part. For a boy growing up in state care, where even the basics are often out of reach, being included meant everything.

Thank you for helping children in care and ensuring that children with disabilities are not left behind simply because they lack everyday essentials. Every table, every hot meal served from those cooking pots, and every opportunity like this reminds these children that they matter.

As a small grassroots charity, we receive far more requests for help than we can meet. We are asked to provide everything from food and baby formula to diapers, classroom furniture, washing machines, renovation materials, and other essentials. The needs are immense, but with your continued support we can keep saying "yes" to those who need us most.

Thank you for standing with these children and helping us bring dignity, opportunity, and hope where they are needed most. We simply couldn't do this without you.
