We are pleased to present a comprehensive update on the Uganda Water Project, reflecting our steady progress and the continued generosity of our supporters.
Thanks to the ongoing contributions from the First Congregational Church of Webster Groves, the Rotary Club of Webster Groves, their members, and other individual donors. We have been able to significantly enhance our efforts in providing clean and safe drinking water to the communities in Uganda.
As of this report, we have successfully mapped out seven new water stations, with construction already underway at four of these sites (see pictures). We anticipate that these projects will be completed within the next three months, further expanding access to clean water for local residents.
To date, our project has resulted in the installation of 14 water kiosks and public standposts in Uganda, benefiting over 30,000 people. This critical resource has contributed to improved health outcomes by reducing waterborne diseases and empowering local agriculture, enabling families to cultivate more sustainable food sources.
In addition to infrastructure development, we remain committed to educating community members on proper sanitation and hygiene practices, as well as the importance of water conservation. These educational initiatives are vital for ensuring the long-term sustainability of water resources for future generations.
We express our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support as we continue this important work. Together, we are making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve. We look forward to sharing more stories of hope and transformation in the months to come as we strive to ensure that every community has access to clean and safe water.
