As part of our annual Ugwumba Women Conference, which is celebrated every year during the International Women's Day, we shall empower 100 women selected from across Nigeria with our small grants on March 08, 2025.
This is in continuation of our financial support for rural women across Nigeria under our microgrants program called the U-Fund for Women.
As usual, some of the beneficiaries shall be selected from among the Association of Women Living with HIV/AIDS in Nigeria and women with disabilities.
Speakers invited for the Conference include: Prof. Remi Duyile, CEO of Legacy Premier Foundation, USA; Dr. Alisa Whyte, CEO of Fulfilment Empwerment Initiatives, USA and Mrs. Omu Obilor, Coordinator of the Business Network Initiatives, Nigeria.
Special guests expected at the event include our President, His Excellency, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu; our BoT Chairman, HRH Othman Bilyaminu Usman; our new Advisory Board Chairman, Mr. Chris Foltz and other members of the Ugwumba General Council.
