Super Typhoon Hagibis has caused devastating damage throughout Japan. In response, Association for Aid and Relief Japan (AAR) provides Emergency Relief, dispatching the emergency response team on 13th October.
AAR Japan has dispatched the emergency response team to the affected areas to implement relief efforts such as follows: 1) Erecting Soup kitchens to cook meals around/in evacuation centers to serve the affected populations. 2) Distributing food/water and other items such as diapers, clothes, feminine hygiene products etc. 3) Conducting needs-assessment on communities of Persons with disability to implement timely and appropriate support to the group.
AAR Japan work towards achieving resilience of the typhoon affected area as a long term goal.
