We have 52 children at Hearts of Hope. To take the children anywhere on an outing, we need transport. With no large transporter, we use our smaller Hearts of Hope company cars (see in the photos) and often our staff vehicles as well. We want our children to be able to experience theare, movies, going out for milkshakes - but when we have to use every single organisation's cars and staff cars, it becomes a logistical nightmare. It also means, that if there are other appointments like clinic visits, or doctor visits, we aren't able to take the other children out.
The photos are from a trip the children went on today. It is school holidays, and during the holidays, we try and expose them to fun and educational activities which they don't usually get a chance to experience. Each child needs to be safe and wear a seat belt. Today, 14 children went off to theatre and we needed 4 cars to take them and the adult helpers.
We would love to be able to take the children on outings more often, especially during school holidays.
Please think about supporting this project and enabling Hearts of Hope to buy a transporter.
