Over the last three months, a lot has happened in the nine communities served by CEI! We want to share highlights with you! Women's Groups held a fete in late December, to award certificates and celebrate an outstanding year under the leadership of Naichka Leonard. "When I was a girl I had to leave school in fourth grade," says one Group Leader, Marie. "Now, I am learning accounting, business, financing and how to earn more so that my daughter will have what she needs to stay in school. I feel so happy!"

Lucinda says, "I had no animals one year ago. Now I have two goats and five baby goats! And I have already given one baby back to Franck, for another farmer. It made me feel so good to give back." Because of Franck's ongoing oversight and training, the goat population is healthy and robust. They are providing income and nutrition for hundreds of families in the area.

Thank you for your GlobalGiving contribution, that is making this possible!
