Here at Amún Shéa School, we believe in Science Education for all!
Picture this: Pendulums swinging back and forth, a solar system planetarium set hanging above, and molecular cell models spread out. If you were to visit CIAC, the Interactive Center for Scientific Learning, this is what you'd see and so much more at Amún Shéa School. Through an agreement with MINED (the Salvadoran Ministry of Education), CIAC is housed at the Amún Shéa school campus --and it is literally the only one of its kind in Morazán. In fact, there are only two CIACs in all of El Salvador. Click HERE to find out more about CIAC (en español). CIAC at Amún Shéa was designed to make science education accessible to all in Morazán, not just Amún Shéa students. And after being closed for a few years due to the pandemic, CIAC is finally starting to open its doors again. This is certainly one small step for El Salvador and one giant leap for rural education worldwide! This is one example of how we are transforming education for a brighter and more peaceful El Salvador. Thank you for your continued support.
