Quality Learning for 120 Salvadoran Youth

Economic hurdles clearly obstruct access to quality education. Eliminating these hurdles is a precondition to level the playing field of socioeconomic development. It removes excuses for underdevelopment and creates opportunities to break traditional cycles of poverty. This scholarship program opens access to the Amun Shea Learning Program for 120 young people living in northern Morazan, the poorest region of El Salvador. This access will lead to a new era of dynamic change and growth. project reportread updates from the field
Aquaponics Solution to Climate Change

The controlled environment provided by an aquaponics greenhouse solves obstacles to food production caused by climate change in El Salvador, including a proliferation of pests and irregular rainfall. Amun Shea students will benefit from nutritious meals at school, as well as from learning to manage scalable aguaponics production for home and small business application. Their current experience in fish farming and vegetable growing will be combined in this proactive solution to food production. project reportread updates from the field
Bring a Salvadoran School into the 21st Century

By donating to this project you will be helping to bring reliable, fast internet access to the Amun Shea School in Perquin, El Salvador. This breakthrough will ensure that the children here have access to the wealth of knowledge and unparalleled connectivity to the outside world that the internet offers. With the chronic lack of textbooks we have at the school, internet access is sometimes the only source of learning that we have access to; you can make this happen. You can help these kids. project reportread updates from the field
Computer Lab for Young Social Entrepreneurs

We are instilling entrepreneur spirit and know-how in our students at Amun Shea School, in northern Morazan, El Salvador. Through investigation and research, they construct solutions to very real local developmental problems and are becoming the changemakers within their homes and communities. Program growth, both in terms of student population and in technological advancement, has outgrown current facilities. We are building and equipping a computer lab and need your help to complete it. project reportread updates from the field
