Dear Global Givers:
We are glad to inform you we have successfully built the first demonstrative rain water harvesting system in San Pablo Hidalgo. These last months merged in this complex context were full of learning and resilience for us. We have finished an ethnographic investigation about water accessibility in the community and we are working together in order to produce a shortcut documentary and a new fundraising campaign, so less people from San Pablo will compromise their healthcare and sanity because of the water desaed.
Hand in hand with local authorities, NGOs working on rainwater harvesting projects, public universities and socially responsible companies, we have strengthen our community engagement methodology so we will be able to apply this for other mexican communities with a lack on water accessibility for basic healthcare to make front to the pandemic, decrease contagions and improve the immune system of local habitants.
The next months will be focused on cultural and environmental activities with the aim of enhance the social fabric.; as well as conducting short- and medium-term fundraising campaigns to attend the need for safe water supply in communities and connect with new alliances to work together and strengthen communities for the autonomous and sustainable management of local resources.
