The TEEM Center continues to move forward in it's programming with events for the community. A home buying seminar, local artist in concert, and movie night capped out August. A health fair and health and wellness expo were held in September reaching quite a few families in the community. We also held a packed leadership conference. This month in October, we have a medicare info session for seniors who need to chose between the various plans available. We also have a civics information workshop highlighting introduction to the three branches of government and voter rights information.
Although donations through GlobalGiving haven't been coming in as we thought, we are encouraged to promote essential programming to enhance and educate our community, while providing various activities for our youth. November and December are filled with a CPR and safety class, family movie night, and a community appreciation day. We celebrate our local youth as we provide toys for Christmas during our toys for tots and holiday movie.
