We closed out 2025 in December, we had our annual Toys 4 Toys and were able to provide toys for approximately 40 boys and girs, as well as provide refreshments and snacks, and show a family holiday comedy movie. Our events during the year have given the community a new and safe place to come to learn, be mentored, showcase talent, and receive training on CPR and safety and health and wellness.
We began 2026 in April with our community movie night, where this year's movie focus will be educational, historical, and cultural. We have Q & A time after each movie in order to see what messages were received by the public. Our May events focused on youth, begining with the local Baldwin school band performing a concert at the TEEM Center. We also scheduled a creative arts and poetry event in which school students showcased their various art works, poetry, and rap. The month of June included our monthly movie night highlighted a Black heritage movie. The TEEM Center hosted a Senior's Dance for those 55+ which was well attended.
We have a full calendar of exciting events for youth and the community in 2026, as we continue to build the soul of our community. We want to thank all of our local and GlobalGiving donors. We invite you to continue contributing to build our impoverished youth and families in our rural community.
