Train 50 Community First Responders in Ghana

Summary

In many communities, emergencies such as accidents, medical incidents, and natural disasters occur before professional help can arrive. This project will train 50 community members as first responders, equipping them with basic lifesaving skills to provide immediate assistance during emergencies.

Challenge

Many communities lack trained individuals who can respond quickly to emergencies. Delays in first aid, basic life support, and emergency response often result in preventable injuries, complications, or loss of life.

Solution

The project will train 50 community members in first aid, basic life support, emergency response, and injury management. Participants will receive hands-on training, simple first aid kits, and guidance on responding safely and effectively while coordinating with local health facilities and emergency services.

Long-Term Impact

The project will improve community safety by increasing the number of trained first responders, reducing emergency response times, and saving lives. Over time, communities will become more resilient and better prepared to handle emergencies.
