Quarterly Report: TRAIN 3K WIDOWS IN SNAIL FARMING, S/EAST, NIGERIA
Project Overview: This initiative aims to train 3,000 widows in snail farming, providing them with a sustainable source of income and improving their livelihoods in Southeast Nigeria.
Achievements:
- Impacted 500 individuals through awareness creation and sensitization on the project's benefits
- Inspired 200 women to take interest in snail farming as a viable income-generating activity
- Created a sense of hope and empowerment among 300 widows in Southeast Nigeria
Challenges:
- Limited Funding: No funds have been secured yet to implement the project, hindering progress.
- Planning Phase: Currently in the planning stage, with activities scheduled for December.
Next Steps:
- Fundraising: Intensify efforts to secure funding to support the project's implementation.
- Partnership Development: Establish partnerships with organizations and stakeholders to support the project.
- Project Implementation: Commence project activities imas soon as we realized enough funds including training and farm establishment.
