THANK YOU to our GlobalGiving supporters! This quarter, we have particularly encouraging news to share from our Nanofilter project in Tanzania.
Unlike some of our other community activities where funding was limited this quarter, the Nanofilter project received donations through GlobalGiving, and we were able to translate this support directly into action. The donations helped us continue expanding access to safe drinking water by establishing additional Nanofilter water statitions operated by women entrepreneurs.
One of our exciting achievements this quarter was the establishment of a new Nanofilter water station at the Nanenane grounds. Through this model, we are not only addressing the challenge of access to safe water, but also creating opportunities for women to participate in small businesses that can generate income while serving their communities.
An Unexpected Opportunity for Greater Visibility
The good news did not stop there!
During the Nanenane Exhibition in August 2026, we were given an opportunity to showcase the Nanofilter project within the exhibition booth of the Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology (NM-AIST).
This was particularly important to us. Being showcased within the booth of a government institution gave the Nanofilter project excellent visibility and credibility. The exhibition attracted many visitors, including dignitaries and members of the public, who had an opportunity to see the technology, learn about our community water model, and interact with those demonstrating the innovation.
The enthusiastic response was very encouraging. It showed us that a project supported at the grassroots level can also attract attention on much larger platforms.
Your Donations Are Creating More Than Clean Water
What excites us most is that the impact goes beyond water. Every new women-operated Nanofilter station combines safe water access, entreprenurship, employment opportunities, community empowerment, and locally dreven sustainability.
This is why your support through GlobalGiving matters so much. Donations received this quarter helped us move from plans to tangible action - more water stations, more women entrepreneurs, and greater public awareness of the Nanofilter solutions.
We sincerely thank everyone who contributed. We look forward to establishing more stations and reaching more communities as additional resources become available.
Together, we are turning safe water into opportunity.
KARIBU SANA TANZANIA!
