Over the past three months, our Nanofilter project has reached a major milestone on its journey toward climate finance. We have partnered with OYU Green India to include the Nanofilter innovation in the carbon credit system. This collaboration aims to recognize the environmental impact of our filters, which eliminate the need for firewood or charcoal boiling — significantly reducing carbon emissions while providing safe drinking water to families. Currently, our Nanofilter installations are under audit and verification to quantify their carbon savings. We are optimistic that the first carbon credits will be issued before the end of 2025, marking a transformative step toward sustainability. This achievement has been made possible by the continued generosity and trust of our GlobalGiving donors, who have helped us become “credit-worthy.” Your support has built a foundation strong enough to attract international climate partners and long-term financing opportunities.
