When we started our relationship with GlobalGiving Foundation, we focused on our children surviving the COVID Pandemic and finishing their education. We are happy to report that with your continued support, we accomplished this goal.
Though we succeeded in reaching this goal, sadly, this pandemic placed our foundation in a position where we experienced reduced financial support. This situation forced our foundation to move our children to other NGOs in Thailand. This change will then provide the means to continue our children's education. As it is said, when one door closes, another opens.
The Life Home Project Foundation adjusted its mission to focus on HIV Prevention and Education in our Thai communities. This new program will allow us to focus on HIV education on safer sex, how to prevent the transmission of HIV, addressing the stigma of HIV, understanding that knowing one's HIV status is essential, and, if positive, how and where to receive free medication.
As we move forward, we celebrate how we managed to help our children live a productive life. This project was created to assist our children with their education during the pandemic. We have accomplished this goal and will now close this project.
On behalf of our children, staff, and board members, thank you for supporting our goal of caring for our children's future.
