We continue to believe that providing underprivileged menstruating girls with free sanitary pads monthly, so they feel empowered and dignified to stay in school at all times is essential and we must all join forces to ensuure that this is realised.
Our project will contribute to and accelerate our government's commitment to ending period poverty in the country by targeting young girls who are out of school.
Although we continue to seek for the needed funding to construct additional Sanitary Pad Banks across Ghana, we have to at this point close this fundraising. However, we will continue to provide underprivileged menstruating girls with free sanitary pads monthly, so they feel empowered and dignified to stay in school at all times. By providing a safe and hygienic environment to access free sanitary pads, this initiative addresses multiple challenges at a go.
