We continue to believe in the goal of providing underprivileged menstruating girls with free sanitary pads monthly, so they feel empowered and dignified to stay in school at all times. In the past three months, we have not had the needed funding to construct any new or additional Sanitary Pad Bank. However, we are of the firm belief that with your support, we will reach our goal of setting up multiple Sanitary pad banks across Ghana to provide a safe and hygienic environment to girls to access free sanitary pads. This will address multiple challenges at a go; Improved hygiene and reduced reproductive tract infections, increased school attendance, and empowerment among other benefits.
During this reporting period, we marked the World Menstrual Hygiene day with the view of drawing attention to the challenges that we seek to affress.
Our project aims to establish 10 free sanitary pad distribution centers across 10 communities in Ghana, providing free packs of essential sanitary products for vulnerable girls each month. Our goal is to provide underprivileged menstruating girls with free sanitary pads monthly, so they feel empowered and dignified to stay in school at all times. By providing a safe and hygienic environment to access free sanitary pads, this initiative addresses multiple challenges at a go.
