We are living in incredibly challenging times and it can be easy to feel isolated from others. Unfortunately, due to social distancing guidelines, people are not able to come together to view The F Word. However, we have been looking at the encouraging words of those who visited the exhibition in Christ Church back in February. One comment in particular, although written about The F Word, is a poignant message for the challenges we are now facing.
“It makes me realise how amazing people are – how they have turned their pain into positive. It also makes me reflect on how we should cherish the life we have and the people we have in it!”
We would love to share with you some further comments of those who saw the exhibition in Christ Church, Ware in February.
“Having wrestled with the concept of forgiveness in my own life, the stories here have resonated greatly.”
“Beautiful exhibition. Great catalyst for my own healing.”
“These stories are amazingly inspiring. Thank you for this beautiful project.”
“Very moving stories. One story in particular resonated with me and I cried. These stories bring hope to a broken world.”
“A very powerful and thought-provoking exhibition of people who have suffered terribly. As much as I feel huge sorrow for their sufferings, I would like to thank them; The Forgiveness Project/ Christ Church for sharing their thoughts and allowing me to understand a little better and help myself a little more. It has enabled me to move on a little – yet raises more questions for me! Thank you.”
Whilst the touring of The F Word will have to be on pause, we are aware now, more than ever, of the need for connection and healing. We hope to be able to share the powerful stories of The F Word with you again soon, but in the meantime please do visit the stories on our website.
