Thank you—we can’t say it enough! Because of your generosity, people impacted by the recent floods in Tennessee were able to receive meaningful support from a trusted nonprofit organization in GlobalGiving’s nonprofit network.
The Tennessee Flood Relief Fund, in partnership with GlobalGiving’s crisis response partnership with Facebook, powered an emergency grant to Martha O'Bryan Center. Founded in 1894, Martha O’Bryan Center is an anti-poverty organization with longstanding history and deep community roots in Tennessee. The organization’s Americorps service members were on the front lines in serving the areas most devastated by flooding to clear debris and clean community buildings.
Your support of the Tennessee Flood Relief Fund is advancing community-led recovery, and it means that communities affected by flooding in Tennessee received vital resources during these uncertain times.
This fund is no longer accepting donations, and this will be the last fund report of this kind from our team.
We hope you'll stay connected with our work through Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and our Learn Library, where we regularly share stories about the incredible impact of the powerful GlobalGiving community. If you haven’t already, subscribe to get periodic email updates from our team here.
With gratitude,
Kyra and the GlobalGiving Team
