Remembering the project:
The project aims to reduce digital illiteracy, combat school dropouts and awaken students' interest in learning, encouraging vocations and creating opportunities for students with talent in the areas of Robotics and Programming. Furthermore, it promotes a work culture based on values and social skills, offering support to children and young people with high potential, but who face barriers to accessing Science and Technology due to their socially vulnerable situation.
In recent months, project participants have had an intense and enriching experience, participating in lectures and technological exhibitions that explored the latest innovations and trends in the sector.
As part of this learning and development process, the Alpha Bots project team participated in the FIRST Tech Challenge event, a robotics competition that brings together students from grades 7 to 12 to design, build and program robots. In this dispute, teams compete in alliances, facing challenges that require strategy, innovation and teamwork. This experience allowed students to apply the knowledge acquired throughout the project in practice, while developing essential skills for the technology market.
Immersion in these events created a conducive environment for the exchange of knowledge between students, educators and professionals in the field, stimulating debates about new projects, partnership possibilities and career prospects. This experience expanded students' understanding of the job market and reinforced the importance of collaboration and the development of essential skills to work in an increasingly dynamic and competitive scenario.
