Project Report | Jul 10, 2025
AlphaBots - Seventh Report

By Israel Neto | Project Manager

Project Overview
The project aims to reduce digital illiteracy, combat school dropout rates, and spark students’ interest in learning by encouraging talents and creating opportunities for those with skills in Robotics and Programming. Additionally, it promotes a work culture grounded in values and social-emotional skills, providing support to children and young people with high potential who face barriers to accessing Science and Technology due to their vulnerable social conditions.

Alphabots 1860 – FIRST Robotics Competition
The Alphabots 1860 – FIRST Robotics Competition (@frc1860), representing the Instituto Alpha Lumen in partnership with TEAGA/B&S Solutions and Vallenge, proudly participated in the FIRST Championship 2025.
It was a moment of great pride and achievement for the entire team, who brought their creativity, technical knowledge, and collaborative spirit to one of the world’s largest robotics events. Participation in the championship is the result of much effort, teamwork, and dedication from the students and mentors involved in the project.
In addition to preparing for the competition, the students were actively engaged in a continuous process of technical improvement. They focused on studying possible enhancements for the robot, performed preventive maintenance, and made performance-boosting adjustments. Throughout their preparation, they also took part in both theoretical and practical robotics classes, deepening their knowledge in programming, mechanics, electronics, and team collaboration.

Their participation in the championship represents not only a milestone for the team but also an inspiring example of how scientific education can transform lives and open doors to the future.
