Almost all Haitian migrants come to Chile, Brazil, Mexico, USA, and Canada,... to change their lives. They are often victims of abuse, human treatment, and trafficking, and are unaware of the opportunities offered by those countries of destination and not having good information. During this unprecedented time of migration crisis, we work to respond to the needs of Haitian. T-zen is an mobile app that gives free access to information and orientation for Haitian migrants and refugees
Due to the humanitarian crisis affecting Haiti caused by widespread insecurity, after the assassination of President Jovenel Moise, on July 7, 2021 at his residence; Haitian youth see leaving the country as a good option to go to countries such as the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Brazil, the United States, Chile, Canada and more. The most serious problem that causes other problems for them is the lack of information on how to legally migrate and reside in their country of destination.
App Mobile: All in one place. It is the first tool in Haitian Creole, that allows one to know the basic information of the receiving countries. In the menu you can have information on Work, Health, Legalization, Studies, Important Places (GPS), Emergency number phone, training: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.goodbarber.migrantes Facebook Fan Page: https://www.facebook.com/tzencht/ With T-zen, we started new activities to support immigrants in this time of crisis.
Our app is the oldest and has managed to maintain itself over time by creating a community. It is also the App with the largest number of downloads. It is the only app that is in Creole.t does not require registration (migrants are afraid to hand over their data). It is free and has a wide variety of content that has been collected by surveys and focus groups. 14 000 downloaded. Our goal for this 2023, is to get more than 20 000 downloads. We hope to help 200 Haitians as jobbers/entrepreneurs.
