More than 13 years of armed conflict in Syria has displaced millions of people and caused one of the greatest humanitarian crises of our time. Your donation to this fund will help refugees and displaced communities access emergency services and rebuild their lives, which is ever vital as the country undergoes a massive transition of power.
Years of armed conflict forced an estimated 5.7 million Syrians, half of whom are children, to flee to neighboring countries, and millions of people are internally displaced within Syria. In late 2024, Syrian rebels regained control, ending the former President Bashar al-Assad's brutal rule. As forces fought for control of Syria over the years, some 610,000 Syrians have been killed and 130,000 more are missing.
This fund will support life-saving assistance and relief efforts for Syrians displaced by conflict, both within Syria and in neighboring countries. Your support will help survivors get necessary immediate relief supplies like food and hygiene kits, as well as provide long-term support through activities such as building water systems, providing school supplies, job training, and public outreach to increase awareness and understanding of the crisis.
