Flavia and Angela
Hello donors and well wishers! Bellow is a brief update from the children's guardian Stephen:
The children are steadily growing. David, Flavia and Angela all performing well in school. Angela still gets and uses her meds. Sometimes she reacts differently to the ARVs. She hurts, feels dizzy, needs extra feeding. Sometimes she eats more than expected.
This beautiful lady helps us take care of the kids.
Couldn't get to see David as he had wandered off when I visited. Raymond is a married man now.

Well that last bit was a shocker to me! Fortunately he waited until after he was 18 and he's a great kid...( I should say man now!!!) so she is a lucky young lady. I look forward to meeting her next time I'm back in Uganda!
Thanks again for your contunued love and support.

Update
By Stephen Ssemakula | Children's Guardian
Happy new year to you all.
Thank you for all the support you gave us in 2019. We wouldn't have made it thru without this support.
We concluded the school term with joy since our children passed and were promoted to higher classes. Angela was 3rd out of 23, Flavia was 7th out of 35 and David scored 20 aggregates which is Division 2.
During the year, the children have had several intervals of illnesses but the major one was (and still is) for Flavia. She has been on and off with intervals of serious illnesses. She responds differently to her drugs. However, she's OK as I write this. In general, we need a lot of social support for our well being. I have attached the children's end of term reports.
(Unfortunately due to GlobalGiving's policies we are no longer able to include copies of the children's report cards)
We plan to have photos of the chirldren for you soon.
Thank you all again for your continued love and support.

Update
By Lee Koelzer | Director
Hello everyone!
Not much to report at the moment. The kids seem to be doing well but struggeling a bit with the land issues and the health of the Jajja taking care of the younger 3. Unfortunately, Jajja was struck by lightening a few weeks ago (because apparently when it rains it pours!) Her health is doing ok now and she is recovering, but it has definitely made it harder for her to care for the children.
We have received your donations through GlobalGiving and they covering the school fees and helping out with the general living and upkeep costs for these kids. Thank you all so much for your continued support. We will continue to update you as the children's lives progress.
