Inter Care is dedicated to assisting the most vulnerable patients who are unable to afford essential treatments. By collaborating with our partner health units in Malawi, Sierra Leone, and Tanzania, patients can access Inter Care's donated medical supplies and receive their treatment at no cost.
Numerous patients, including some we have personally met, are currently receiving long-term care at our partner health units. These vulnerable people may be battling cancer, facing a significant disability, or dealing with an illness that leaves them bedridden. Additionally, many patients' families face financial hardships and cannot provide support for their loved ones in the hospital; this is where Inter Care steps in.
We can provide a 30-day course of treatment for pain relief and anxiety. This gift supports both physical and mental health of patients receiving palliative care. We can send PPE to protect healthcare staff interacting with up to 100 patients. We can send supplies to provide a 30-day course of pressure sore treatment. This gift alleviates the additional pain associated with an already distressing condition. PLUS we could give 50 children a 7 day course of treatment for ear infection.
With access to Inter Care's donations of medical supplies, patients in long-term care will receive treatment at no cost.
