Help people access to healthcare

By Maisie Mayne | Fundraising intern

What's the Problem?

Not Enough Healthcare Workers: In many places, especially in the countryside, there aren't enough doctors and nurses.
Lack of Knowledge: People might not know how to stay healthy or what to do if they get sick.
Shorter Lifespan: Because of these problems, people in rural areas often don't live as long as people in cities.
Expensive Healthcare: Going to the doctor can cost a lot of money, and many people can't afford it.
What's Action Change Doing?

Action Change wants to make healthcare more accessible by:

Teaching People About Health: They'll create posters and flyers to teach people about important health issues.
Hygiene Workshops: They'll run workshops on "WaSH" (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) to help people stay clean and healthy.
Emergency Training: They'll train community members, police officers, and teachers in first aid and emergency response.
Bringing in Local Professionals: They'll work with local doctors and nurses to provide healthcare.
Providing Medical Supplies: They will purchase supplies so that the trained professionals can help people.
Why Is This Important?

It helps people stay healthy and avoid getting sick.
It teaches people how to respond in emergencies.
It improves the quality of life for people in these communities.
How Will They Do It?

They need £3,776 to make this happen.
This project will be 100% funded by donations.
In Simple Terms:

Action Change is trying to make sure everyone, no matter where they live, has access to basic healthcare. They're doing this by teaching people about health, training them in emergencies, and bringing in local healthcare workers. It's like giving communities the tools they need to take care of themselves.
