Winter is slowly saying goodbye and the first signs of spring can already be seen. And another season came to an end. The foolish time. The carnival season, also known as the fifth season, begins in Germany every year on November 11th and ends with Ash Wednesday. Shrovetide reaches its peak on Shrove Monday and Shrove Tuesday before Ash Wednesday. It seems Germany is in carnival mode then and carnival parties and shrove processions take place in many places.
So, of course, Carnival was also celebrated exuberantly at “Der Neue Kupferhof”. It started with making decorations and costumes, where our guest children had a lot of fun and were enthusiastic. Everyone dressed up for the party. So really everyone who liked. From the guest children, their parents and siblings, to employees and volunteers, to pedagogues and nursing staff, to the “Haende-fuer-Kinder” teddy bears. There was an even more exuberant atmosphere than usual in the house. The children had so much fun that it spread to everyone else. The name of “Der Neue Kupferhof” could also have been changed to “House of Smiling People”.
With this in mind, I send everyone a smile and wish you a nice early spring season.
