Project Report | Nov 22, 2025
Update on the progress report on

By Samuel Akaraonye | Founder/CEO

This quarter, we were unable to begin implementation due to limited funding. This project is highly capital-intensive, as providing clean water and safe sanitation facilities in rural communities requires borehole construction, water reticulation systems, toilets, handwashing stations, and hygiene education.

Despite these financial challenges, our commitment to improving Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) access in underserved communities across Southeast Nigeria has not changed. Clean water remains one of the most urgent needs in our rural areas.

Current Status

This quarter, we focused on:

Conducting assessments in communities most affected by water scarcity and unsafe sanitation.

Identifying locations for future boreholes, toilet units, and hygiene stations.

Engaging community leaders and preparing technical plans for implementation.

Strengthening partnerships with engineers, health workers, and WASH educators.

The groundwork has been laid — what we need now is the financial support to transform plans into reality.

Why This Project Matters

Many rural families still rely on streams, open wells, and contaminated water sources. This leads to:

Cholera

Typhoid

Diarrhea

Increased maternal and child mortality

Poor hygiene practices

School absenteeism, especially among girls

Your support can provide clean water, restore dignity, and save lives.

GivingTuesday Invitation – December 2

As we prepare for the next phase of this life-changing project, we warmly invite you to join us this GivingTuesday, December 2.

Your support can help us:

Drill clean water boreholes

Build safe toilets

Provide handwashing facilities

Train communities on hygiene

Reduce waterborne diseases

Clean water is not a privilege — it is a lifeline.

Your GivingTuesday gift can bring safe water to families who have lived without it for years.

Join us this GivingTuesday and help us bring hope, health, and dignity to rural communities.

Thank You

We sincerely appreciate every donor and supporter who believes in this mission. Even though funds were not received this quarter, your encouragement strengthens our resolve. With your support this December and beyond, we can begin transforming rural communities through safe water and sanitation.

Thank you for standing with us.

Warm regards,

Sam Onyemaechi Humanitarian Foundation
