Dear Supporter,
The impact we are creating together can be seen in the eyes of every parent whose child has been given another chance at life.
Faisal was born into a moment that should have been filled with joy. Instead, his parents were overwhelmed with fear when doctors discovered that he was suffering from acute respiratory distress syndrome—a life-threatening condition that left him unable to breathe properly on his own.
SEMA’s medical team had to act immediately. Faisal was admitted to intensive care and placed on a ventilator. As the medical equipment surrounded their newborn son, his parents feared they could lose him at any moment.
But hope remained.
Because of your generous donations, our doctors were able to begin the urgent treatment Faisal needed. At the same time, our team stayed close to his mother, offering comfort and reassurance during one of the most painful moments of her life.
Overcome with fear for her baby, she broke down in tears.
Then, after several difficult days, Faisal began to improve.
The relief and gratitude in his mother’s eyes were beyond words. They expressed the love of a mother who had almost lost her child—and the deep appreciation of a family whose baby was saved because compassionate supporters like you chose to help.
You were part of Faisal’s recovery.
Your donations helped provide the ventilator, medical treatment, and specialized care that gave him the strength to breathe and the chance to remain in his mother’s arms.
Thank you for continuing to stand with vulnerable newborn babies and their families in northern Syria.
Together, we are turning fear into relief, tears into gratitude, and fragile beginnings into new chances at life.
With heartfelt gratitude,
