CARE Society and myHarvest wish to thank you again for your precious help!
Thanks to the funds raised, CARE Society was able to conduct further germination-related testing during the summer. The first round of germination testing has proved very successful. As a result, Kumari and Sivalingam were able to distribute seeds (such as several types of millet i.e. thinai and varaku) to 20 farmers so far in Mugaiyur.
MyHarvest’s Archana was busy all summer with their Summer Camp where kids had the opportunity to grow their own greens using the “myHarvest box”. She also just finalized new groups to join the ‘Grow your own Food’ program from September, including 2 groups from 2 government schools namely Athangi Kavanoor and Vengal.
