Humanitarian needs in northern Syria remain high, particularly among displaced families living in temporary camps. Many households rely on humanitarian assistance because their income is not enough to cover food, shelter, medical care, and other basic needs.
Bread distribution is particularly important because the need is continuous. Families do not need bread only once; they need it every single day.
A one-time distribution may provide temporary relief, but sustainable support allows families to benefit over a longer period. Regular bread distributions can help improve household food security and reduce the risk of hunger.
This support is especially valuable for large families, widows, elderly people, and households caring for people with disabilities.
Continuing bread projects means continuing to place essential food on the tables of families facing difficult circumstances.
Through ongoing donor support, bread can be delivered consistently to different camps and reach families who may otherwise struggle to secure enough food.
