In Al-Dhahiriya Camp near Aleppo in northern Syria, displaced families are doing their best to endure difficult living conditions while trying to provide for their children with very limited means.
For many of these households, the cost of even basic food can be difficult to manage. Fresh bread remains one of the most important daily necessities, especially for large families and those without a stable income.
To help reduce this burden, our team delivered and distributed fresh bread to families across the camp. The assistance was provided directly to households so they could benefit from it immediately.
A loaf of bread may seem small, but for a family facing food insecurity, its value is much greater. It can mean that children have something to eat, that parents feel less pressure for the day, and that a household can save its limited funds for another urgent need.
The impact of this work is found in these simple moments of relief.
Every loaf delivered carries the generosity of our donors and a message of solidarity to displaced families in northern Syria. Thank you for helping us continue this essential support.
