Many children in our target communities in Nigeria are out of school due to poverty, insecurity, and social challenges. The activities of terrorist groups have increased fear in some areas, leading many families to keep their children at home for safety. At the same time, many women, especially widows and single mothers, struggle to provide for their families due to lack of income and support.
This project aims to return 2,000 out-of-school children to education while supporting vulnerable women to rebuild their lives and better care for their families.
FUNDING CHALLENGES
Despite the urgent need for intervention, accessing sufficient funding remains a major challenge. The resources required to successfully return 2,000 children to school and provide meaningful support to vulnerable women are substantial.
Limited funding affects our ability to provide essential services such as school fees, uniforms, learning materials, psychosocial support, and safety-related measures for children. Rising costs caused by insecurity, displacement, and economic inflation further increase the pressure on the limited resources available.
Without consistent financial support, many children may continue to remain out of school, and many women may remain trapped in poverty, trauma, and vulnerability. Increased donor support is critical to sustaining and expanding this important work.
OUR APPROACH
Through this project, we will help children return to school by supporting essential educational needs such as school enrollment, uniforms, and learning materials. We will also collaborate with community members and local stakeholders to encourage safer learning environments for children.
At the same time, vulnerable women will receive psychosocial support, skills training, and small income-generating opportunities that can help them rebuild their confidence and economic independence.
CALL TO ACTION
We urgently call on donors, partners, and compassionate individuals to join us in this mission. Every day, many children and women continue to live with fear, trauma, and uncertainty due to violence, displacement, and extreme poverty.
Your support can help restore hope. By contributing to this project, you will help children return to school, provide healing and empowerment for vulnerable women, and support families as they rebuild their lives with dignity and resilience.
