Support for unemployed and Disaffected youth

Young people who are out of school and without work often face difficult choices. Without education, vocational skills, or a reliable source of income, many become increasingly vulnerable to poverty, social exclusion, delinquency, and other forms of exploitation. Our Support for Unemployed and Disaffected Youth project was created to offer a practical alternative: six months of hands-on welding and metalwork training for vulnerable young people aged 15 to 25, helping them build skills they can use to find employment or eventually establish their own small workshops.

The project is currently in its preparation phase. We are identifying qualified trainers and reaching out to young people who could benefit most from the training. No project funds have been raised yet, and the planned budget is $88,000. This honesty is important to us: we want our donors to clearly understand where we are today and what their support will make possible. Once resources are secured, the project will provide practical technical training, employment-oriented support, and guidance toward economic independence. We expect the benefits to extend beyond individual participants by strengthening the local skilled workforce, supporting families, and helping young people become more actively involved in their communities.
