This project aims to lift unemployed and out-of-school youth out of precarious situations by offering them skills-based technical training and support towards employment.The project targets young people aged 15 to 25 who are experiencing educational of social difficulties for a period of six months.It pursues the following objectives:To impact solid technical skills in welding;To facilate access to salaried employment or support the creation of independent micro-workshops;
The central issue of this project is that a lack of education and employment pushes vulnerable youth toward delinquency, while technical trades like welding offer a fast track to financial independence. The observation is that general education is either inadequate or too expensive. This leads to early school dropout, creating a marginalized youth. This, in turn,exposes them to the risk of joining gngs or engaging in organized crime.
The solution offered by the project to train unemployed and out-of-school youth in welding and fitting lies primarily in the rapid socio-professional and economic reintegration of these vulnerable young people through the learning of concrete technical trades. By transforming young people who have dropped out of school or are socially excluded into skilled workers.
The project generates a profound, measurable impact on three levels: individual, economic and social. Social and behavioral impact: Reduction in delequency,community reintegration,decreased membershipin urban gangs or armed groups,restoration of human dignity through the mastery of technical skills; Economic and professional impact: Financial independence, Market integration,entrepreneurial spirit,pocerty eradication; Community and local impact : Skilled workforce, multiplier effect.
