Greetings to you from HEARDS - India!

The small gestures of donation is often bringing the biggest smiles among these children. HEARDS takes pride in changing the lives of these 85 children for good. HEARDS is very proud to be selected as a Top Rankes, Vetted, Site Visit Verified and Effective Organization for 2019 on GlobalGiving, USA.

Here we also need to say our heartfelt thanks to all our key stakeholders for your esteemed support all through these years and we from HEARDS Team assure you that we will keep doing our best for our community in future also to maintain our highest standards.

We believe that your act of kindness and feel and open the lives of children who have lost their childhood for children in need. Health Education Adoption Rehabilitation Development Society (HEARDS) undertakes non-formal and formal education from the 1^st Grade to 7^th Grade according to the Government Department of Education approved syllabus and curriculum. The parents and children come from the city slum and/or impoverished remote village areas. The parents are uneducated, illiterate, and very poor. They work in petty jobs or petty "businesses". None of the children are employed.

Our project goal is that we need to enable poor and needy children to become educated, fully self-reliant, and beneficial members of the society and country in which they live. To provide comprehensive aid and care to poor and needy children, boys and girls, of all ages and academic levels on both a residential and non-residential basis to enable them to pursue their educations to as high a level as they desire and are capable of achieving.

Right now this center is supporting 85 children. There is an inevitable need to support towards mid-day meal for the above said children as most of the children are mal nutritious. Happy with the Mid-day Meal

Dear Esteemed Donors,

Season greetings to you from HEARDS - India!

We have been getting your valuable generous support through Global Giving and we arethankful to you from the core of our heart. This report showcases the all-round development of our children, since the last report, showing their good health and continued wellbeing due to the nutritious meals being given to them, by generous donor like you, who has donated generously towards this program.

‘No child should go hungry without food in HEARDS rehabilitation centre’ concept was originally conceptualized in 2002 by its Ex Co-Founder Mr.M.C.Kuriyakose, who devoted his entire life towards social cause and started this centre in Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh, INDIA. Having personally experienced the pain and suffering of working children bringing up a 100 % working child mainstreaming them to the regular Government schools, they pledged their support and resources in order to realize this dream. To date HEARDS has been living up to this concept and its success is reflected on the smiling faces and healthy complexions of our children. With the help of kind hearted philanthropists HEARDS Centre has been able to provide nutritious mid-day meals to all its children throughout the year.

The concept focuses on every hungry child who needs a healthy meal during school hours and is not limited to children alone. Any child in the vicinity makes a beeline to HEARDS knowing very well that a hot, nutritious and fresh food will be served to them.

Thank you for supporting mid-day meal for Children

Dear Friends and Donors,

Thank you for all your generous support for caring the neglected children through the esteemed organization GlobalGiving. The esteemed donations from your generosity help us to help neglected children by providing mid-day meal. The donations made through GlobalGiving has made our children come out of malnourishment. This help we also help them to stay fit and healthy so that they were concentrating more on their education.

In the rehabilitation centre we have started to provide mid-day meal to all the children. Cook has been appointed to prepare the noon meal in the rehabilitation center itself. Utmost care is taken to prepare nutrition meal under hygienic conditions to feed the children. According to the schedule the noon meal has been prepared and served for all children. All the centers children are given full Mid-day meal that consists of rice, pulses, vegetables, leafy vegetables etc. Once in a month we provide eggs to the children. The children were healthy and very active. This practise will definitely keep the children in good health conditions.

This activity encourages the parents and motivates the students to attend the school without any absence. Besides this the children who are attending the rehabilitation Center are receiving refreshments (Biscuits) in the evening in addition to the noon meals.

Such activity in the project brought worryless mind and the children are extremely happy with the provisioin of mid-day meals and feel happiness in their hearts. These provisions are happening because of your generous support and sacrifice of your hard earnings towards elderly care. HEARDS and our staff thanking you from the bottom of our heart for your valuable support.

We will continue to keep this activity continued and I request all your generosity to support for the same cause as you were done now.
