December and January are school vacation months for children in Brazil. Furthermore, this is Brazilians’ favorite season: summer! To entertain children during this period and contribute to good memories, socialization, care and protection, we have prepared several outdoor activities: ball games, swimming in the pool and fishing. Play is an essential part of childhood and plays a crucial role in children's physical, cognitive, emotional, social and linguistic development. It is through play that they explore the world around them, learn new skills and prepare for the challenges of adult life.
To complete the holiday fun we had an amazing Brazilian barbecue. The children were enchanted by one of the tours and were reluctant to leave.
“I loved the activity today. I love playing here and the food was really delicious. Can we always come back?!” (Child L, 4 years old).
